This idea of creating a historical park is a great idea for children and kids to learn more about history. Normally, minors don't really care about history, but compared to an amusement park where they could find themselves entertained, they would definitely feel interested. To create attractions, the developers had created the amusement park to different sections of the world that Napoleon fought on. This is really interesting and a phenomenal idea that could definitely keep them busy. I am excited to see this amusement park and willingly to try some of it's rides out.

Courage
Courage is something you have already when you were born, but it could also be developed. Everyone should have some courage because we see people with it everyday, even for kids. Kids and babys eventually grow and courage develops with it, which I could relate to me where when I was a kid I'm scared to go to the bathroom alone, but now of course I won't be afraid. We also see kids talking to strangers which is also another example of born courage. Developed courage is also essential and we could see it developing everyday between minors even thought if it's me or my friends. Some of the courage I developed was being able to talk on the phone, speak with other people and to not be shy. Without courage, I definitely wouldn't be the person I am today.

Community Service
Last friday the eight graders have taken a trip to do some community services such as visiting the blind and the daycare. Sadly, being sick let me down so I didn't have the opportunity to attend it, but for the last few weeks I also helped the world and in the same time meeting the standards of a caring citizen. What I did was with my family, where we decided to donate a million for an orphanage with addition of clothes and towels. We also did some activities with the kids which was spending some time with them and giving a motivational speech. It was a wonderful day and it makes me feel tremendously good when I saw the smiles on their faces. If a had another chance, it would definitely mean a lot to me since I really enjoyed it.

Boston Tea Party
Yesterday in class, we learned about the Boston Tea Party. This event happened because of the British keeping the tax on tea which the colonists definitely hated it. The patriots or the colonists responded by throwing all the tea inside an import boat to the Boston waters that costs million of pounds. The reason that they are doing this is to send a message to the British to stop the tea tax. Presently, it is called the Boston Tea Party.
We also had a siminar in class about this topic which led us to, "Were the Patriots terrorists or not?". In my opinion they are not because they were just fighting to gain the rights that they deserved. The patriots weren't selfish or greedy, they just want their voices heard. Imagine if the government controlled you however they like, getting you in jail, a soldier intruding your house without permission or putting tax on anything they want to. They were treated unfairly which could be proven by taxation and lack of freedom of speech.
This event also reminded me of North Korea's government policy. As well as the patriots, non of the people had the right to argue, travel or own their property. A great comparison would be a jail where rights are limited and controlled. The difference between them is that the North Korean's didn't complain about how they were treated which makes it easier for their government to control. Also, according to John Locke, people should have natural rights, liberty, property, and life which clearly the patriots didn't have because of the strict absolute monarchy. In the end, the patriots succeeded with great results by gaining their independence and establishing the United States Of America.

Explanation about my school
The name of the tremendous school that have established more than 50 years in Thailand is "Ruamrudee International School", the union of hearts. Out of all the schools in Bangkok, this is a special one with the power and the heart of a phoenix which is also the schools symbol. What makes this school unique it's, it's wide range of facilities, sports, curriculum, and school sections. Lets start with the facilities. The school contains 2 soccer fields, the phoenix and the new renoved one, also 2 tennis courts and an olympic sized swimming pool, plus 4 covered gyms used for pe. Including all of that, did I mention we also had 1 canteen, 2 small shops and 1 cozy cafe restaurant. We also have a wide range and variety of sports which contains swimming, softball, volleyball, basketball, soccer, tennis, golf, and of course water polo which is led by my talented L.A and S.S teacher, Ms. Torie and these sports are seperated by u-11, u-13, u-15, Jv, and Varsity. To be even more special than other schools we have came up with an organized 4 day curriculum. Inside the curriculum we have 2 breaks and schools starts at 7:15 and ends at 2:35. So, after hearing about my wonderful school, how is yours compared to mine?

Thai Innovation
From reading the article "Thailand Floods" something that is really interesting to me is the flood alarm created by a piping and a ping pong ball which students from Mongkhut University had invented. This alarm works by, when the flood rises, it pushes the ping pong ball up upon to a certain point which results in an alarm. To me, this is very creative because the idea is so simple along with the materials used and it can turn into a useful and effecient tool. If I was to think of an invention to help the flood, I would invent a portable shower that uses flood water which goes through a process that could make it clean, is it even possible? Inventions that would help contribute to the flood must be made by simple materials because it would be easy for the people that are effected b the flood to make and of course, it has to be effecient in some way. Anyways, the best scenerio is to quickly end this flooding and let all citizens in Thailand live their normal life once again.

Tragedy in Thailand
A tragedy had hit Thailand which had affected millions and millions of citizens. It is the biggest flood that had happened to this beautiful country in 50 years. This is nothing to joke about and it is a serious problem that everyone has to care and support. Like me and most of my other friends, we are not affected, but out there they are people who need our support and love. My family and I have volunteered to help by giving 1 million baht as well as water bottles and mama cups to the flood charity created by the government. Not only me but my group of friends also want to show that they care, so we decided to attend "Wipe the Tide" which is where we invade Bangkok’s major traffic intersections to clean the windshields of cars in order to raise funds for flood victims and to help rebuilding devastated areas. We think this is a great activity to have fun and help at the same time where anyone can join. So if you want me to wash your cars, drive to central world where this event will occur! I hope you are all safe and dry and I hope to see everyone on Monday :).
