Metacognition

Things that I noticed when were doing the practice of metacognition was that I talked to myself without noticing it and it kinda helped me understand what I'm doing more. I also noticed that when I'm rushing, questions like "What animal should I do?" and "Will I finish it on time?" flashed into my mind and I could think better. The hard part is when I'm rushing it slows me down so I have to act fast before the time limit. Things I learned from my partner today was that she can think really fast and be creative at the same time. I think that this is a great practice for everyone and it also helps me as a student by making me think more and deeper. We should definitely do it again!

  1. Sounds like a positive experience. I wonder what exactly helped you understand what you were doing the most about the 'Think Aloud' process? Suggesting that we do the activity again is a good idea; the practice can only help.
